Women's car insurance covered by new advice guide
Mon, 12 Sep 2005
Women's car insurance is one of many topics covered by a new guidebook that claims to be the ultimate survival guide to life in modern-day Britain. The Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) has launched the new Citizens Advice Handbook with the aim of it becoming the essential reference book for tackling all types of everyday problems. Released to coincide with the CAB's Advice Week 2005, it features in-house information system used by all CAB advisers in dealing with nearly six million problems a year. CAB chief executive David Harker said: "For most people, finding their way round the labyrinth of the countless laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines and procedures that govern our everyday life can be a nightmare - especially if its urgent and youve got a crisis on your hands." "The Citizens Advice Handbook is designed to give you the basic information you need to get your head around a problem that needs solving, quickly and easily, whenever you need it." The book covers other key topics such as family, health, housing, education, employment and civil rights. Mr Harker added: "Whatever query you have, this book will help you. Whatever problem youre facing, this book will show you how to set about solving it."
