Shop around to ensure women's car insurance a perfect fit

Many women prefer to spend more time looking for the perfect fitting jeans than searching out the best deal for financial products.
Research by watchdog Which? discovered that people spend nearly twice as long shopping for jeans than checking to see if financial products meet their needs.
However, as the peak time for renewing motor insurance premiums approaches, women are being advised to spend less time on the high-street and more time on the internet getting competitive quotes.
"We all make decisions about how to spend our money every day, but how well informed are we really?" said Louise Hanson, head of campaigns, Which?
It is estimated that UK drivers could save around £50 by spending a little more time on purchasing cover – enough to allow for the purchase of a second-pair of those perfect fitting jeans.
