Pay women's car insurance with a credit card
Thu, 14 Jul 2005
Women may find it easier to pay their motor insurance premiums via a monthly credit card payment rather than in a one-off lump sum. Leading insurer the AA has joined forced with software company Target to offer customers the option to pay for their insurance cover in monthly or quarterly instalments. "We chose to work with Target because of the flexibility that its solutions provide," said Alan Joshua, project manager at AA Information Systems. He added: "As well as meeting the regulatory requirements, the TargetCentrac system can be easily integrated with our current applications, allowing us to constantly improve the service that we offer to our customers." It is hoped that the new option will allow customers to better budget for their annual renewal as well as spreading the increasing costs of motoring over a 12 month period.
