Nissan 4X4 top choice for women's car insurance holders
Fri, 23 Sep 2005
The Nissan 4X4 range is hugely popular with female car insurance holders, a new report suggests. Nissan has been chosen as the 2006 4X4 Maker of the Year by 4X4 & MPV Driver magazine, thanks to its successful range of six four-wheel drive vehicles. In particular, its X-Trail and Pathfinder models are especially suitable for women drivers with families, providing security, comfort and space for the kids. Editor of 4X4 & MPV Driver, Bob Murray, commented: "Nissan has gone 4x4 crazy and now boasts models to suit just about everyone from those who don't really need a 4x4 to those whose lives depend on one. "It's an intelligent, sexy, capable and appealing range. But more than anything all the models represent great value for money." The X-Trail is priced at between £16,500 and £24,600, while the Pathfinder starts at £24,5000. Both compare favourably with rival makes in terms of price. A new model is set to be added to Nissan's 4X4 range within the next 12 months.
