Men may treasure cars but women's car insurance still a necessity

Although British men's most treasured possessions are their cars, women are still be advised to make sure their have adequate insurance cover for their own vehicles.
A new survey by AXA Insurance shows that 15 per cent of men believe their car is their most treasured possession, while 28 per cent of women prefer to treasure photographs of special occasions such as weddings and birthdays.
However, AXA's Paul Bennett stressed that women need to ensure they have insurance cover for not just treasured possessions but also enough cover to necessary items.
"It's intriguing to see how men and women vary when asked to choose the single item that they treasure the most - women generally went for lower value items that evoked memories and had sentimental meaning, while men have opted for traditional boys' toys," added Mr Bennett.
