Womens Car Insurance Article Jamieson to get uninsured drivers off the road Wed, 11 Aug 04 The transport minister David Jamieson has said that it's time to get drivers with no car insurance off the roads. Government figures show that uninsured drivers are ten times more likely to have been convicted of drink driving and six times more likely to have been convicted of driving an unsafe vehicle. Speaking on Sky News this morning, Mr Jamieson remarked: "We want these people off the road for the benefit of the vast majority of people in this country who are honest, drive safely and insure their cars."
