Consider women's car insurance when buying a new car
Fri, 29 Jul 2005
Women who have purchased a new car are being encouraged to gain quotes from specialist female insurers as well as checking their credit history. Next month will see a substantial rise in car purchase as the latest registration plated vehicles hit the market but women are being urged to make sure that they get the best loan to buy a car as well as shopping around for competitive insurance cover. Around 75 per cent of new vehicles will be financed through a loan but MyCallcredit believes that motorists should check their credit reports before purchasing in order to ensure they are offered a loan with a reasonable APR. "Car dealers dont tend to advertise a typical APR because there are other factors in play like how many cars of a particular type they have in stock," said MyCallcredit director Alison Nicholson. "This can work in your favour if there is a deal on the car you want but its always worth checking other sources of finance and your credit rating so you know whether what youre being offered is a good deal for you."
