Compare offers on women's car insurance
Thu, 07 Jul 2005
UK motorists are likely to break down an average of 20 times during their driving lifetime, a new study reveals. The fact that the average driver will break down once every three year highlights the need for adequate women's car insurance. Direct Line reports that flat tyres top the league table of breakdown causes for women motorists (causing 28 per cent of breakdowns). Men are more likely to be left stranded by a flat battery (32 per cent). Some women's policies offer breakdown cover or a linked service but female drivers are encouraged to carefully compare the offers on the market.
